Nebraska Alpha

Phi Kappa Psi — Nebraska Alpha (University of Nebraska–Lincoln) is an association of young men committed to academic excellence, servant leadership, and lifelong brotherhood. Guided by the fraternity’s national mission to “develop members of character,” Nebraska Alpha encourages scholastic achievement through chapter- and Foundation-supported scholarships, study programs, and mentor networks that help members succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Membership Requirements: Membership in Phi Kappa Psi at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln represents a commitment to personal growth, academic excellence, and the fraternity’s enduring values. To join Nebraska Alpha, prospective members must be in good standing with the university and actively enrolled at UNL, ensuring that academic priorities remain central to fraternity life.Active participation in philanthropic and service events—such as food drives, mentorship programs, and community outreach—embodies the fraternity’s motto, “The Great Joy of Serving Others.” These experiences not only strengthen the Lincoln community but also cultivate empathy, teamwork, and civic responsibility among brothers.Financial contributions through dues are essential to sustaining chapter operations, leadership development programs, and philanthropic initiatives that uphold Phi Psi’s mission.
