- John T. McGreer Scholarship - Awarded to the freshman with the highest GPA for the year.
- Morton Steinhart Scholarship - Awarded to freshmen with academic merit, achievement, and promise.
- Mabel Waters Scholarship - For students in the College of Business.
- James S. McWilliams Scholarship - For students in the College of Business.
- Brian L. Halla Engineering Scholarship and Fellowship - For students in the College of Engineering.
- Kent Broadhurst Fine and Performing Arts Scholarship - For students in the Hixon-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts.
- Patty Unthank Shefte Bass Scholarship - Supports UNL students with financial need in memory of Steven E. Shefte.
- Western Nebraska Scholarship - For students whose home is in western Nebraska (Ogallala and west) to help pay college expenses or for special studies domestically or abroad.
